Yes, I recommend this product.
"I have purchased 3 previous pairs of New Balance shoes. . I put 600 miles of running on the 2nd pair (1123) before the bottoms got slick and hurt my feet. The 3rd pair (993) is still good with 525 miles on them. The model 812 has a new sizing parameter. I wear a 7.5 D yet this pair was tight and very narrow. Great customer return service and I went the next width up. The back & sides are comfortable, but the front (toe box) is extra wide and hurting my toes. I received them yesterday and wore them to work today, They hurt my toes by the time I crossed the parking lot & even sitting at my desk. My plan for afterwork walk-runs in a casual looking shoe are gone. I'll call New Balance tonight, but suspect I am stuck with them. My fault for not walking around my house carpet more first. I'd still recommend them if you can find a size that fits comfortably."

"I picked these shoes up with the idea that it was 20 dollars cheaper and made in the good old USA but when breaking them in the plastic sole was stiff and not great feeling to walk on as the more expensive, I do not know why the sole was harder then the more expensive ones, due to my size 14 6e boats and no one fits as good on my feet and only a few styles to pick from I guess I will have to spent the extra for comfort."

"I have owned the 812's for over a year. They are top notch in every respect except they are way too hot for Texas summers. Need air holes or some means of ventilation. I will buy New Balance again, but definitely not the 812"
