Anne Davis, Vice Chairman and Executive VP Administration at New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc., is a graduate of Emmanuel College where she majored in Languages. After college, Anne used her linguistic training in Washington working at the National Security Agency. Anne joined New Balance in 1977 as its first Human Resource Manager. At the time, the company employed less than 50 people and had sales of about one half million dollars. She has developed an extremely effective human resource team, which is responsible for placement, training and education of a highly motivated, progressive and goal-oriented work force. Anne also oversees all corporate contributions and community service functions. She is the Managing Trustee of the New Balance Charitable Foundation. Anne and her husband Jim are devoted parents who spend all of their free time with their two children.
