Executive Vice President, New Balance Apparel

Kerry Kligerman Kerry Kligerman, executive vice president, apparel, joined the New Balance team when NB acquired his company, Vital Apparel Group, in Dec. 2007. As President of Vital, Kligerman was responsible for the organization’s more than 20 times growth in 13 years. Kligerman’s experience in business growth, matched with his knowledge of the athletic apparel industry, supports NB’s overarching goal to double global sales by 2012.

Kligerman brings to New Balance more than 30 years experience in the athletic apparel industry. After beginning his career in 1977 in the Danskin sales department, Kligerman moved on to Gilda Marx where he pioneered the brand’s growth in the women’s athletic market. Recognized for his industry leadership, Kligerman was promoted to Vice President, National Sales for the fast-growing brand. In 1995, Kligerman purchased partial ownership in Vital Apparel Group, where he spearheaded company growth at aggressive speed. Complimenting his professional experience, Kligerman has served as a board member of the Sporting Goods Manufacturing Association for the past eight years.

Kligerman resides in Florida with his wife and their two children.
