New Balance Announces the Grand Reopening of Santa Barbara New Balance

BOSTON, Mass. - October 23, 2003 - New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc. is pleased to announce the GRAND RE-OPENING of the premiere Santa Barbara New Balance store on October 27, located at 607 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA.

The 4,200 square foot, historic, Spanish-style building is located in the heart of Santa Barbara, and will exclusively showcase hundreds of high-performance products under the New Balance brand including: running, walking, cross-training, tennis, basketball and adventure sports footwear and a full line of apparel and accessories.  With styles for men, women and kids available, the store also carries a full line of Dunham boots and casual shoes.

In addition to the exceptional customer service known throughout all New Balance locations, Santa Barbara New Balance will provide experienced personnel for shoe fitting and gait analysis for all customers, while supporting the unique market position of New Balance and their 2A - 6E width range.

As part of the Grand Opening celebration, Santa Barbara New Balance is also the proud Title Sponsor of the Santa Barbara Half Marathon, taking place on Saturday, November 1st, 2003.  More than 2000 race participants will be picking up their race packets at the store October 29th - 31st.
