RUNNING
The M/W690, a responsive Cushioning shoe developed for the neutral runner seeking a cushioned and comfortable ride, will debut for July 2004. The 690 features Abzorb® cushioning in the heel and forefoot, a Stability Web® for lightweight midfoot support, and an Ndurance™ three-piece outsole for flexibility. The 690 will be available in two color-ways per gender. MSRP: $70.00
Trail
In the Supportive Cushioning segment of the trail running category, New Balance will introduce the M/W906 for August 2004. A technical off-road trainer designed for the rugged runner, the 906 features Abzorb SBS® cushioning in the heel and forefoot for maximum shock absorption, a Transitional Support System for pronation control, a Rock Stop plate for forefoot protection against rocks and debris, and a Tru-Trak, multi-directional lug configuration for maximum traction and surface contact. Developed with an aggressively lugged outsole for on-and off-road running, the all-terrain M/W707 will debut in the Cushioning segment of the trail running category for July 2004. The 707 features Abzorb® cushioning in the heel and forefoot, a Stability Web®, Ndurance™ outsole for maximum durability in high-wear areas, reflective details for safety and night running, and a synthetic/mesh upper for a comfortable ride. TENNIS
For July 2004, the CT820/WCT820 will debut as an ultra-Lightweight shoe for those performance players with an aggressive game. The 820 features Abzorb® cushioning in heel and forefoot, a Stability Web® for lightweight midfoot support, and N-durance outsole for maximum durability in high-wear areas. The 820 also offers a breathable mesh upper, an abrasion resistant toe guard, vented nylon plate, and an ISS (internal support system) which hugs the waist of foot for additional support. Brand new to the Cushioning segment, the CT/WCT530 will debut for July 2004. A classic leather shoe designed for before and after the match, the 530 features Abzorb® cushioning and a C-Cap® midsole. Chunkier white leather and hardware in the eye row offer a casual, youthful look. MSRP: $60.00
CROSS-TRAINING
For July 2004, the MX/WX620, a versatile leather/mesh cross-trainer shoe will debut in the Cushioning segment for Fall 2004. The 620 features Abzorb® cushioning in the heel and forefoot and a solid rubber outsole for long-wearing durability. The 620 will be available in five color-ways per gender. MSRP: $60.00
The MX/WX791, a Lightweight trainer designed to provide an optimal blend of speed and comfort for the athlete looking for a competitive edge, will become available in July 2004. The 791 features N-lock technology for midfoot support, Abzorb® cushioning in the heel and forefoot, a Stability Web®, and a synthetic/mesh upper for lightweight breathability. BASKETBALL
For July 2004, the BB722 will debut in the Lightweight cushioning segment. The 722 features Abzorb® cushioning in the heel and forefoot, a Stability Web®, rich materials, chrome detailing, perforated nubuck for breathability, and a full leather upper for natural comfort and durability. The 722 will be available in four color-ways. MSRP: $70.00
The BB/WB886, a mid-cut shoe built for maximum durability and performance, will debut in the Supportive Cushioning segment for July 2004. Available in both men's and women's sizes, the 886 features Abzorb® cushioning in the heel and forefoot, a Stability Web®, full grain leather in the vamp and collar, and a non-marking traditional herringbone tread sole pattern. These innovations, combined with Breeze Mesh, perforated foam on the tongue, and cat tongue directional lining, all create a complete technical package for performance players. Brand-new for August 2004, the BB901, a Supportive Cushioning shoe, utilizes New Balance's premier technologies including N-ergy cushioning in the heel, a Stability Web®, memory foam around ankle for better fit and support, welded chrome details, increased rubber forefoot sidewalls, and a cat tongue directional lining on the heel. ADVENTURE
For July 2004, the MA/WA955 will debut in the Supportive Cushioning segment. An adventure shoe that provides moderate stability, cushioning, and protection for the authentic long distance adventure racer, the 955 features a stretch engineered vamp that accommodates forefoot swelling during those long and rugged races. Additional features include Abzorb SBS®, a Stability Web®, and an impact shield for forefoot protection against rocks and debris. Athletic
The WW741, a women's-only, progressively styled walking shoe, will debut in the Cushioning segment for July 2004. Featuring Abzorb SBS® cushioning in heel, a Stability Web® for lightweight midfoot support, an external TPU saddle for additional support, the 741 offers a highly technical package as well as streamlined cosmetics and a sleek silhouette for the avid walker. For August 2004, the MW/WW505, a flexible, lightweight shoe, will launch in the Cushioning segment. The 505 offers Abzorb® cushioning in the heel, a walking strike path for stability throughout the walking gait cycle, and a solid rubber outsole for long-wearing durability. MSRP: $58.00
The MW/WW657, a lightweight supportive shoe designed for fast-paced fitness walking, will debut in the Cushioning segment for May 2004. The 657 features Abzorb® cushioning in heel and forefoot, a medial post for pronation control, and a walking strike path. MSRP: $70.00
For July 2004, the MW/WW757 will be available in the Supportive Cushioning segment of the Walking category.
