BOSTON, October 28, 2005 - New Balance will usher in the Spring 2006 season with a new line of innovative performance apparel, featuring brand new fabric and construction technologies.

Men & Women
New for Spring 2006, the Sleeveless Code Top is composed of a fabric that is engineered to create design without adding seams. With this new engineered jacquard, you can design the fabric to have different color splices without stitching – keeping the piece both lightweight and preventing any sort of chafing that could occur with additional seams. Lightning Dry™ fabric provides moisture transfer, while flatlocked seams prevent chafing. MSRP: $36.00
The Seca Short is composed of a Cadence Light Dobby fabric that is lightweight, quick drying, and breathable. The shorts' Lightning Dry™ crepe brief allows for moisture management and the women's model is printed with a polka dot pattern providing a subtle pop of color when worn normally or a more noticeable design if the waistband is folded over. An internal storage pocket fits everything from a key to a license to gel/fuel. MSRP: $32.00
The 2Step Short is a versatile two-in-one short, featuring a Lightning Dry™ textured knit shell that offers breathability and quick drying properties.
