Race City: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Terri's Story:
Terri's battle with breast cancer began in December of 2000 when her first mammogram revealed something abnormal. She was otherwise very healthy and didn't have a family history or fall into the high-risk categories associated with cancer, so her diagnosis at age 38 came as a shock.
Terri has served as the chair of the Baton Rouge Race for the Cure for the past 3 years and has taken it to great heights. Terri's desire is to help young women become more vigilant about their own mammography and breast health.
