    Occupation:Stay at home dad while my wife finishes school.
    Other Sports Participated in as a Youngster:Baseball, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Swimming, Diving, and Tennis and Table Tennis (my largest trophy to date is from being the school's ping-pong champion.) I tried about everything and found that track was my best option. Everyone in the 6th grade ran cross-country because it was the only sport offered to boys in the fall. I had more success there than in all the others combined.

    Favorite Pre-Race Meal:1 bagel, 1 banana, and 1 granola bar 3 1/2 hrs before the race
    Favorite Post-Race Meal:Anything. Literally anything, I'm always starved
    Why Do You Run?I want to do things that people thought previously impossible. Also, the excitement of chasing records is what makes training bearable
    Tips for New Runners:If you're not having fun, it's not worth the time and effort. Also, you have to make some sacrifices to achieve your goals.
