| Tips for New Runners: | Your local running community probably organizes a number of races throughout the year (schedules can usually be found online). Chose one (3-8 months down the road, depending on your fitness level) and build a program around it that will get you ready for the race. Even better, recruit a friend to do the same! It's awesome to have a goal to work towards because it keeps you motivated and focused. Have fun!!! |
