CATHY'S STORY - Cathy was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2004. She underwent a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction in December of 2004. In December of 2008 she was diagnosed with recurrent breast cancer. After additional testing the doctors believed she was in Stage 4. She has undergone six rounds of chemo and will have radiation as well. Cathy continues to work during the treatment and doctor visits. Everyone is amazed and impressed by her strength, courage, grace and incredibly positive outlook on life. She believes that while you cannot control the fact that you have breast cancer, you can control how you decide to respond to it.
