ELIZABETH'S STORY - Betty worked for the District Attorney, Lynn Abraham as her assistant for 15 years. She learned about Susan G. Komen for the Cure through Ms. Abraham's position on the Philadelphia Affiliate Board of Directors. Following retirement, Betty found her lump herself and was treated immediately. She has become an exceptionally good friend and volunteer to our affiliates working in the office, gathering auction items for events and attending and helping at fund raising all over the city for us. Betty will be a three year survivor in July 2009.
