Exercise Linked to Reducing Risk of Breast Cancer
By: New Balance
While exercise is great for the mind and body, recent studies have revealed that moderate to vigorous exercise can also help reduce the risk of breast cancer.
The LA Times recently reported a linkage between exercise and estrogen metabolism. A recent study showed, that women who regularly exercised (moderately to vigorously, 5 day a week) before menopause, were able to more effectively metabolize estrogen. This measure of estrogen metabolism has been linked to breast cancer risk.
