"I love this shoe. I've used it for everything from a long race to a track workout. This shoe is light enough for everything you need it to do, but cushioned enough to keep your feet comfy for the long miles."

"I bought these running shoes specifically for the B.A.A. Distance Medley series (5K, 10K, & Half Marathon). Other than these races, I've used them for a few tempo and progression runs. They are very light weight and serve my race purposes very well. As for comfort, they are great around the heel, but tight in the toe box. I get blisters on the tops of both pinky toes when used for more than 5K. The tread is very grippy at first, but wears out fast! (I'm a 180 lbs. runner, so that May have something to do with it.). I'm about to run the third leg of the series and am wondering if I need a new pair already. Most of the forefoot tread is now worn away. The colors in this shoe are a bit much. Every accent color imaginable is thrown on the shoe. Not sure why NB does that. So in summary, yes it's a good racing shoe for a couple of races, but that's it."

Not very confortable and bad quality materials

"I have been a big NB fan for many years. After running with Minimus shoes for a few years, I decided to give the 1400V2 a shot. I love the style and they are indeed very lightweight. After a couple of runs I started to feel some pain in my leg, this is probably caused by my running style but what really turned me down was the quality of the materials in the shoe. The inside of the shoe was not well sowed and the materials inside are very itchy generating a very unconfortable feeling when running and even when walking. I have to admit that I was very disappointed at NB after my purchase."

"i've run my whole life, from track and field to 5/10k's, etc. I've always leaned towards running in nike's. I recently branched out and tried new balance for the first time and what a worlds difference. I have bad knees to begin with from track and fire academies so after my usual runs i would normally be left sore and achey. Ever since purchasing the 1400v2 my runs have felt much better. Not sore/achey at all. These shoes are very lightweight and have great responsiveness. Great product and I'm never going back to nike. Ill stick with new balance"
