"I bought this style mainly to wear around the house so it works OK. It was the only mule I could find that came in a narrow width (at the time of purchase). It just doesn't seem well made compared to previous styles I have purchased. The heel seems flimsy and folds over when I try to put it on. It fits OK but overall I'm not impressed. Very disappointing as I have worn New Balance happily for years."

"I've loved new balance sliders for years and have worn the 8-1 and 802 styles at 9.5 B that fit perfectly. My latest attempt with both a b and 2a resulted in a fit that is just too wide! the form they use must have been changed over the past 2 years. Sad very sad"

Yes, I recommend this product.
"Plantar fasciitis sufferer so have to get shoes with decent support, and I have wide feet especially across the toes. Usually have a hard time finding slip-on shoes that offer enough support...also have difficulty finding shoes that are wide enough in the toe box, even ordering "W" shoes I find they often are not wide in the right area for me. These meet all requirements...comfortably slide on & off (but snug enough with the slight rise at the back that they don't fall off when I'm walking) Wider in the toe box, so the wide size does fit my feet. Stylish and lightweight (not clumpy looking) casual look. Love 'em. Thinking seriously about getting some in the other colors."
