"I love this Fresh Foam series! Having high arches, the running shoes & now this model, I'm super happy and so are my feet!! When they arrived, we thought the box was empty, that's how light they are. So glad I found out about the fresh foam series. I have to order wide shoes, they are true to fit. The 822 may be a bit longer than the 980, but not enough to bother with exchanging for a smaller size. I am using these in cross fit type classes."

    My absolute fave!

"Love, love, love this shoe. Growing up barefoot, finding a shoe that allows barefoot feel and comfort has been fruitless, until now. I am a huge fan of the minimus line. I own 5+ pairs. They are my shoe of choice on a daily basis, even when working 12 hr shifts as a nurse. Nonetheless, I couldn't find a shoe I could work out in for more than 5 minutes without my feet killing me. These shoes are perfect for those popular HIIT workouts, which I've done barefoot, until I bought these. They provide that barefoot comfort and flexibility, while adding cushioning for all that jumping and plyometrics! My feet thank you, New Balance!"

    Hate the sock liner!

"This shoe is light, good looking, and comfortable. But the sock liner is a pain. No matter how you put the shoe on it gets all scrunched down. Then it folds under which hurts my foot. I have to mess around with it for longer than I'd want to to make sure it's straight and not folded under (at the top binding) all the way around my food. Great shoe but the liner needs redesigning."

"These shoes are very comfortable and the fit is great. I wear a 8.5 regular width. I use exclusively for indoor use for home workouts using DVDs. After wearing for 2 weeks, the "N"on the shoe is beginning to peel off on both shoes. I'm considering returning them for a refund or exchanging for a different type of shoe. Very disappointed for the price."

"These light weight, but sturdy, shoes fit like a dream. I have hard feet to fit,but my regular 8M fit to perfection. So light I don't know I have them on, but my feet feel firmly protected. And they are good looking, I get complements!"
