"Almost everything about this shoe is excellent. The first trail shoe in 20 years I could say that about. Then the "almost" part. The fine mesh in the top of the toe box wears out between the rubberized panels. Less than 100 miles and I have holes in the top. the rubberized panel cause friction between them and "cut" the mesh. New Balance, find a way to correct that and you have an awesome shoe! Dave"

"The best NB shoe--ever! And I have at least 24 pair. This trail shoe is so smooth and supportive. It feels good all the time. Looking forward to a second pair."

"I only ware NB and was really excited that NB designed a cushioning shoe that had a low mm drop. I am a larger guy and typically use minimal shoes for workouts but am concerned about injury with them on runs longer then 1 mile...I hoped this shoe would open doors. I found however The shoes is tight and uncomfortable. It makes my our foot fall asleep and I wish I could return them for the 1010v2 trail."
