most comfortable shoes I have.

Yes, I recommend this product.

"First I want to say that I have the fresh foam Boracay and love them. I first ordered the Fresh Foam 1080 from Amazon. As soon as I put them on I was very disappointed. The sewn seam that runs from the bottom lace hole to the outside of the sole, rubbed against the widest point of my foot. The seam was extremely uncomfortable and would most likely would cause a blister. And I sent them back. Hoping I got a bad pair, I ordered them from the New Balance site, but had the same problem. Both pair were 4E, so the width was not a problem. I ended up buying the Fresh Foam Hierro. They fit fine and are extremely comfortable. I am very happy with them. The only thing is that I normally take a 10 ½ or 11 in 4E. I had to go to a 12 4E so my big toe did not rub against the toe box side. One side note for New Balance. I can’t believe you do not make even one pair of Fresh Foam Zante in 4E."

"I am middle age, 5'11" 170lb, I have worn 9.5 (U.S.) 4E width in past shoes but Size 10/2E is perfect fit for these. I run less than 15miles per week. These shoes are good for my use: perfect fit, light, room for toes, heal is nice and snug. Minimal break in time needed and they protect my feet on the gravel parts of the trails I run on. I am not fond of the bright colors, but these are not as bad as past designs that had flashy neon colors or bright orange laces. I also like the side walls not being white, so the trail dust is not as obvious. They have the right amount of drop that I like (6mm). I recommend for running, walking and playing, and I hope NB continues the model for a while."

Shoes were built well, durable, seemed plush.

"I was very disappointed in my recent purchase. I tried to research product beforehand, I have heard of NB running shoes being too narrow, and they were. For trail shoes you NEED EXTRA ROOM! We use thicker socks, we need our forefoot bones to spread for stability and sometimes our feet swell from excess mileage, the NB Hierros didn't accommodate any of these/"

Shoes are good, not great.

"With the price in mind, the shoes are good, not great. They're comfortable and seem to provide adequate cushioning, but to me there is nothing really outstanding about the shoe. They are a bit drab looking and the upper part of the shoe is a fairly light, seemingly tough enough fabric. Once again, they're adequate but don't stand out as anything special."
