Bought these for my 13-year-old son who wears New Balance wide shoes. These soccer cleats were not anywhere near wide enough. His current Puma soccer shoes which are not a wide are wider than these. I don't understand why it is so hard to find soccer shoes in wide.

Love This Cleats
June 24, 2017
I've had these about 6 weeks now. bought the wide ones (EE).I've had a lot of soccer cleats in my life, i'm 45 and still play, and coach my kids teams too. I have a wide foot, so I have a very hard time finding soccer cleats wide enough. as an example I bought a pair of redwing shoes that were J width. DIdn't know there WAS a J width until then. Last pair of cleats I bought were Kangaroo leather becuase they'd eventually stretch to fit, but finally started read more falling apartt after about 8 years (different brand). I'd often have to buy cleats 2 sizes too long to get them wide enough, and some brands wouldn't even fit then. Shoes too long give me shin splints, so that's not good. I'm so glad I found about these, I had to wait for them to come into a brick and mortor store as I was nervous about the fit, I needed to try them on before I bought. Great fit, Nice wide toe box. my feet don't hurt at all after playing. I've been coaching in them too, especially on dewy mornings since they're plastic upper and therefore repel water. They're quite lightweight, I am a bit faster because of that (well, faster than I would be in my leather cleats), and good traction. a bit low around the ankle, which gives good movement. Oddly, my laces were verrrrrrrrrry short. had to replace them as I could barely tie a knot, and definitely not a double knot. I bought amatching pair for my youngest son because I liked them so much (he has a wide foot too). His laces were verrrry short too. I put the laces from my new shoes into his, and still had a hard time tying his. But i still like them so much i just bought the turf version (wanted the black ones for variety of color, but they don't seem to have them in wide yet.). Highly recommend if you have a very wide foot, get the EE, I hope they hold up well, they seem well made so far (other than short laces). I get a good touch on the ball, not too sticky (don't stick to the ball when dribbling, which makes you trip over the ball). clean surface for an accurate passing surface. and decent shooting surface too. Love em so far. Note, I tried to get my older son to get into a pair, too, since my youngest and I liked ours so much (and my oldest had broken his "neymar" cleats (good player but UGLY shoes), he has a regular foot and he felt these were going to fall off, so we got him a different brand....I don't think we tried the regular width though....silly us. Definitely next time. Again, I'm loving these. read less
