Yes, I recommend this product.
"My uncle, who is a physical therapist, suggested the 811 for my plantars fasciitis. The shoe literally changed my life (no drama, it really did) and dropped my ankle and foot pain by 90%. The 811 was replaced by the 812 and I've had several pairs now. I like the velcro straps, and the only real difference I can tell is the feel a bit "loose". Other than that, if I go a day or two in different shoes, my foot pain starts coming back. These are the best shoes I've ever owned, and would highly recommend them to anyone suffering from plantars fasciitis!"

"This shoe runs narrower than 811, also toe box is not as deep. Don't offer Velcro in the 6E shoe"

"I agree with the person who has worn the 811s for years. I too went to the New Balance 811 with the Velcro flaps after I had both knees replaced. The velcro meant I could fasten my own shoes. I have now tried four pairs of the 812s. They definitely run small in size but even after I went a little larger the straps are still too short to fasten comfortably. Give me back the old style 811s because the 812s are not working."
