Great Shoe, But -WATCH OUT- for Width!

"Let me begin by saying these shoes are pretty awesome, and I'm the kind of person who likes to use my athletic shoes for multiple purposes (in this case, walking, running, crossfit, and cycling), so the Leadville's can definitely handle a lot. I've had them for pretty close to 4 months and, whenever I clean them, they still look brand new. The upper is soft and flexible, the outsole has great traction, and the laces are "bumped" so that they stay in place, which is a FANTASTIC idea. All of that being said, there are 2 main points I would love future readers to now about this shoe: 1) it runs INCREDIBLY wide, and 2) there is little-to-no support offered in the factory given liner, so if you have foot problems (like I do), you'll need to looks for a good insole to put in this guy. (I recommend SuperFeet: they seriously saved me from having to have foot surgery because of my plantar fasciitis - and I'm only 25!) The width on these are so off, it's not even funny, and makes me incredibly happy I was able to try them on in-store before purchasing. I have incredibly wide feet, to the point where I usually need to wear a man's shoe, but I was able to walk away with these guys in my regular size in the B width. Yes, that's right, B - the STANDARD width for women, NOT wide. My foot is so wide it's bordering on an E, and I am able to (very comfortably, and with actually a little bit of lateral room left) wear the B width. Because they fit, I am ok with it, but buyer's beware - if you have narrow feet, this is NOT the shoe for you."

"It's been a long time since I bought running shoes, so I wasn't sure about size or features I needed. After some research, I decided on this trail running shoe and boy, did I luck out!!! I have a wide foot with a high arch and high instep. I ordered my usual size (7,D) and the shoes fit right out of the box---no break in required. As soon as they arrived, I put them on and took a nice long walk/run. They are cute, comfortable, offer great support in all areas, and cushion my feet extremely well. I was a bit surprised at the bright yellow shoelaces, but they look cute with this wonderful trail running shoe. So happy I bought them and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a comfortable shoe with lots of great features."
