The Minimus 10v2 Trail is designed for runners who like to take the trail by the horns. The most virtually barefoot New Balance trail shoe yet, it supports a natural foot positioning and multi-directional traction with flexible overlays, a fitted mesh upper and a rugged Vibram® outsole. You will literally feel every contour of the trail beneath your feet as you go, giving you the ability to push yourself harder than ever before.

"As the Review says I like NB and enjoy their shoes. This shoe is why I love the brand. I have gone Minimal for about 2 years and this shoes is so comfortable I hope to never have to go back. The shoes are great for running and CrossFit workouts! I love the style and comfort for just around town too. I will be buying another pair of these to have them."

"These shoes are the bomb! I have been wearing them for over a year running, hiking, yard work and walking the dog. So far they are holding together and I am pretty hard on footwear. I dislocated my ankle about 15 years ago and had problems running with stability and cushion shoes. I tried the more natural way with these shoes and my ankle now gives me minimal trouble. Great shoe!"

Ok If the Old MT10OB Weren't Amazing

    5/7/14 by | Boston, MA

    • Used Product For: 2-4 weeks
    • Miles with Product: 11-15 miles
    • Avg Miles Per Week: 16-20 miles
    • Primary Activity: Running

"I own the MT10OB, and it is the greatest shoe ever! It was a true minimalist shoe w/o the difficulty (and silly appearance) of Five Fingers. I'm sure I'm in the minority on this, but this one (MT10v2) really disappoints with too much padding to be truly minimalist but not enough padding to be comfy. It's just an awkward feeling shoe for its purpose. It feels like it wants to be a regular sneaker. Something lacks in the contouring around the middle of the shoe for me as well. The padding puts stress on my heels from the lack of ability to get close to the ground. Overall it's a more restrictive shoe. I would love for NB to revisit the MT10OB model."

"I have had these shoes since I joined the Army 2 and a half years ago and am finally buying a new pair. I have put several hundred miles on these shoes and they are finally breaking down and that is only because my puppy chewed on them. They are the best pair of shoes I have ever owned and as long as they are made I'm buying them."
