"I purchased these shoes after using the previous model of trail runners for nearly a year and a half. Because of those shoes, I refuse to wear anything else. They corrected my running form, almost completely eliminated lower-body injuries, and were incredible for running and weight training. I purchased this new model of trail runners as a Christmas gift to myself, and for the first month I had them, was thoroughly convinced they were the next best thing. But, as with my previous two pairs of minimus, they got stinky, as I never wear socks with them. That itself isn't a negative attribute of the shoe, but just a realistic characteristic from running sockless. So, I put them in the wash, about 30 days after getting them. On both shoes, but especially the right one, the soles had separated from the body. Like I mentioned, the right shoe was much more affected, with the adhesive missing more than halfway back from the main body. I wear size 13's, so that's a whole lot of missing adhesive. Then, in trying to self repair them, neither super glue nor "liquid nail" adhesive adhered the sole back to the body of the shoe. For the wash cycle I turned the spin off, had the water at warm/cold, and during the drying I have a mount I can place inside my dryer so they don't spin, and used low heat for two timed cycles, since the first didn't dry them. I only checked for dampness after the first cycle, I didn't notice if the separation occurred then or not. All in all, I loved these shoes for the 30 days I had them, but if you do decide to purchase these, please keep in mind that they must be gently hand washed, and from other reviews I've read in the Road Runner Sports site, the adhesive doesn't last after about 100 miles of running either."

"I bought this shoe about a year and a half ago at a New Balance store. It is very comfortable and has led me to prefer working out either barefoot or in a minimal shoe like this minimus. My only problem is with the durability. About 1 year after purchase I noticed that the front of the sole was starting to peel off the rest of the shoe. This process just got worse and worse and now the front half of the sole just hangs off the shoe. I assume this effect is due to the use of some subpar bonding agent that failed to keep the shoe and sole together. Needless to say, while I have loved this pair of shoes, I will be replacing them with another brand of minimalist shoe in the hope that they will be more durable."

Yes, I recommend this product.
"I have had all of the generations of this model and it has remained my favorite shoe to train in, whether I am running, hiking or training. Strong grip, good snug fit, if I could have one NB shoe it would be this one"

"As the Review says I like NB and enjoy their shoes. This shoe is why I love the brand. I have gone Minimal for about 2 years and this shoes is so comfortable I hope to never have to go back. The shoes are great for running and CrossFit workouts! I love the style and comfort for just around town too. I will be buying another pair of these to have them."
