Features
  • 4 mm drop: due to variances created during the development and manufacturing processes, all references to 4 mm drop are approximate
  • Minimus is a whole new approach to footwear, a new place on the spectrum from barefoot running to the traditional maximum-cushioning running shoe. Inspired by Good Form Running and designed to be worn with or without socks. With only a 4mm drop* from heel to toe, as little as a third of that of a traditional running shoe, the Minimus collection holds a world of discovery for neutral runners as well as those with gait issues or chronic injury to conquer by learning better form.

    Nice crossfit shoe

"Pros- Very nice crossfit shoe. Very light for pull-ups and box jumps. No issues with wear out from rope climbs. Nice low profile for lifts. Despite low profile, cushioning more than adequate for at least one mile in-wod runs. My running shoes feel very heavy now by comparison. Cons - the sole has separated a little here and there from shoe but nothing major. Shoe got a bit loose after breaking in but I started ladder lacing and that fixed it. I have never used any other shoe so I may try something else but not because these were bad. Would def recommend as a solid crossfit shoe."

    Sole needs fixing

    10/7/14 by | Concord, NH

    • Used Product For: 8 or more weeks
    • Primary Activity: Other

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"These shoes are super comfortable, light, and fit great. However, I bought them for Crossfit and after about 3 sessions, sections of the sole started coming off. At first it was just a small corner of the rubber, which I attempted to gorilla glue down, but soon enough I had about 4 different sections all coming apart. If you're just looking for a light gym shoe that is just for stationary workouts, these are great. If you're looking for something that can handle quick changes of direction, sled pushing, sprints...find a different shoe."

    Side Blowouts

5/25/14 by | El Segundo, CA, USA

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"Began noticing side blowouts on both shoes. I don't do any particular routine that I could attribute this to. Just poorly made. Once the holes start appearing, they noticeably get worse after each wear."

    Lateral Durabilty Issues

    4/26/14 by | Pevely, MO

    • Miles with Product: 20+ miles
    • Avg Miles Per Week: 0-5 miles

"I have owned these shoes for one year. I have worn them for style, running, and training at the gym. They have worked flawlessly from the time I got them with all the above. However, recently I wore them for the first time playing basketball. The quick, hard lateral movements was too much for the shoes. I experience a side wall blow out through the mesh within 20 minutes of the game. Prior to the game the shoes were in excellent, near-perfect condition. As much as I love these shoes, I will probably never buy another pair. I was hoping for a much more versatile cross-trainer. Great shoe, but much better suited for fashion and light gym work."

    Great for Crossfitters

    3/15/14 by | Florida, USA

    • Used Product For: 8 or more weeks

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"I have had this shoe for about 8 months, trained in them 4-5 times a week and I am really happy with them. I haven't had the durability issues others have had. I have done box jumps, rope climbs and all of the met-con movements and have not had any issues. I had my shoes fitted at a NB store so no problems for me in terms of fit. I do wear ultra thin socks and have not had any rubbing issues like others...even when I've worn no socks. I like these so much I just got another pair...the new all blue with the yellow trim...before these I wore Nike Free trainers and I even got the newer 5.0 free trainers but still prefer the Minimus. I have never owned the Nano's so I can't compare..I will use the 5.0 on days that I have 800m or more runs."
