Features
  • 4 mm drop: due to variances created during the development and manufacturing processes, all references to 4 mm drop are approximate
  • Minimus is a whole new approach to footwear, a new place on the spectrum from barefoot running to the traditional maximum-cushioning running shoe. Inspired by Good Form Running and designed to be worn with or without socks. With only a 4mm drop* from heel to toe, as little as a third of that of a traditional running shoe, the Minimus collection holds a world of discovery for neutral runners as well as those with gait issues or chronic injury to conquer by learning better form.

    Overall great crossfit shoe.

    • Used Product For: 8 or more weeks

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"Have been these mostly for crossfit for the past 18 months, and all around they are the best shoes I've used. Extremely versatile for lifting, running, wods, etc. What set these apart was a more natural ergonomic fit for my foot (especially for those with wider feet, where other shoes are bit tighter with less toe splay), light weight, and great breathability. Have had no issues with durability thus far: no fraying or damage, has been washed many times and I’m generally pretty hard on gear. The only wish would be for a zero drop version."

If those shoes were more durable, it would be the perfect all-around shoe!

2/3/15 by | San Francisco, CA

"My favorite shoe, insanely light, fit great, and comfortable. However, within a month (1 month!!!) of wearing these, used only as casual shoes (walking to the office and sitting at a desk), a hole appeared on both shoes at the outside corners of the creases that form when your toes bend, and quickly progressed to tear along the crease. If you do your research, too many people have exactly the same problem, and it seems like it’s either a manufacturing defect or a design flaw. If you need something that holds up while walking around, jog the dogs, and I don’t want to mention lifting, sprinting, running, jumping or the great outdoors, you might want to look for something else, or wait until New Balance gets it together. I am very disappointed, for I have recommended these shoes to friends, coworkers, clients, and strangers."

    Nice crossfit shoe

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"Pros- Very nice crossfit shoe. Very light for pull-ups and box jumps. No issues with wear out from rope climbs. Nice low profile for lifts. Despite low profile, cushioning more than adequate for at least one mile in-wod runs. My running shoes feel very heavy now by comparison. Cons - the sole has separated a little here and there from shoe but nothing major. Shoe got a bit loose after breaking in but I started ladder lacing and that fixed it. I have never used any other shoe so I may try something else but not because these were bad. Would def recommend as a solid crossfit shoe."

    Sole needs fixing

    10/7/14 by | Concord, NH

    • Used Product For: 8 or more weeks
    • Primary Activity: Other

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"These shoes are super comfortable, light, and fit great. However, I bought them for Crossfit and after about 3 sessions, sections of the sole started coming off. At first it was just a small corner of the rubber, which I attempted to gorilla glue down, but soon enough I had about 4 different sections all coming apart. If you're just looking for a light gym shoe that is just for stationary workouts, these are great. If you're looking for something that can handle quick changes of direction, sled pushing, sprints...find a different shoe."

    Side Blowouts

5/25/14 by | El Segundo, CA, USA

    • Used Product For: 4-6 weeks

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"Began noticing side blowouts on both shoes. I don't do any particular routine that I could attribute this to. Just poorly made. Once the holes start appearing, they noticeably get worse after each wear."
