"First, the positives: this shoe has excellent barefoot feel. Although I first thought the pods would interfere with ground feel or that I would be distracted by always feeling the space between pods, I was pleasantly surprised that the sole (pods and all) felt like one continuous outsole. More importantly, ground feel is outstanding. I disagree with Eric from Philly, who stated he wouldn't use these as road shoes. Outside the major issue I bring up below, any experienced barefoot/minimalist runner would do perfectly fine with these. Finally, they are EXTREMELY lightweight, which is awesome. Now the bad: NOT DURABLE AT ALL! My first run in them (you read that correctly - FIRST run), the pads on the outer pods on both shoes tore off! This was one 10 mile run. 10 miles! Terrible performance and definitely not up to NB's usual standards. In addition, the run was the day after a warmup in temp, with snowmelt leaving the macadam trail wet. Not puddles, mind you, but damp macadam. These shoes immediately sucked the moisture through the footbed and onto my sock and foot. This was not unexpected, however, given the extreme thinness of the footbed. I'm willing to forgive this, with trade off being superior ground feel and lightness. The toe box is definitely narrower than I usually prefer, with some limitation of toe splay. Summary: it has some nice features, but is a useless shoe if it falls apart 10 miles into it's lifespan!"

Yes, I recommend this product.
"These shoes were great however I would not recommend to use on a trail or road because it would either hurt your feet because there is no padding and on the road the your knees would take a huge pounding to where you could get runners knee. However I used the shoes on the track they are very light and were able to get me to championships. Also with the shoes I was able to go from running a 5:05 with nike spikes to running a 4:49 mile with them. I also used them a lot with the treadmill. Unfortunately due to the two fabrics that make the sole rub so much together because I place at least 25 miles a week with these shoes that is was able to now after 1 year they are officially retired some of the pads fell as I ran 2 miles on Monday but now I will be purchasing new one so I can use in college."

"I love these shoes however I was severely disappointed in their durability. I'm not even a runner and these needed to be replaced within 6 months."
