    Very Dissappointed

"I am a big fan of New Balance shoes. I have run in them for years and will continue to do so. However when I got this shoe I was so extremely disappointed I was amazed. I wanted a shoe with some support and cushioning. This has either. I can feel every pebble and twig that I step on. I have been running for many years and these are by far the worst shoes I have ever had. I soon stopped running in them and I just started wearing them to the gym. They do no even do that well. The workmanship appears to be crather heap and I expect they will fall apart as they sit in my closet unused."

Great fit but some quality issues.

"Great Looks and Great fit! Poor Construction. I purchased this shoe in July 2014 but did not begin wearing until week of August 18th 2014. Today just over 30 days later the breatheable mesh material has separated from the toe cap on both shoes at the seams. I have worn NB shoes for over 25 years. Original driver was size selection, recently the design and style have been outstanding. This is the first NB product I have had quality issues with and will continue to purchase their product but I recomend you avoid this particular style."

"I'm cursed with a shoe size of 11 4E... and it's difficult to find a nice trail shoe that doesn't squeeze my feet. I used to blow through a few pair of the 101 trail shoes every year... but, that model has disappeared. They were too narrow anyway. I recently completed my 2nd Ragnar Trail series... and these shoes were perfect for the 16 miles through mud, water and muck. Great traction, great stability, and held up well through all the conditions. Well done, New Balance! I'd highly recommend these and would purchase again."

"10.5 4E fit great! These shoes are super comfortable and I wear these everywhere. Bought the orange ones and they look really sweet. Plenty of complements. Hoping they come out with a couple more colors, I am tempted to buy a second pair to put away for later I like them so much."

    Tough Shoe

"This shoe is great for serious rough running/training. I do believe that they would make great hiking shoes as well. I would advise that you break them in first. I ran 8 mile Jungle Run in these shoes right out of the box. The back of my foot was torn up and bloody. That was my fault for not having broken the shoe in. I was doing jungle runs in the 610 V2 and the shoe was not tough enough to take it so I went looking for a new shoe that was tough and solid and I most certainly found it in this shoe. I would like to see this in a OD green or Coyote Tan color or OD green with Coyote Tan high lights."
