"Narrow and shallow toe box. Uncomfortable relative to my 990v4 & 1260v5 in the same size & width. High price."

"I felt like my foot engulfed the shoe. not much lateral support. it is a minimus right? I get it. I need more support, cushion, lateral support. That's why I recommend the shoe; it might work for you. I'm 6ft 245lb size 15 wide."

"I use shoes specifically just for the gym (weight room, cardio), and these are great shoes. I've had them for almost 6 months now, and I still love them. They fit the same as all of my other New Balance shoes, offer great support for working out, and are still holding up well!"

    Size no longer dependable

"Up to three years ago I could always depend on the size shoe I ordered as being the same as the one I ordered previously. 10.5 4E - This is apparently no longer the case. Very sad as living in Ecuador I depended on consistence of size as it is very expensive to return things from here. Too bad, I will probably have to look locally for my next pair of shoes."

"After having multiple pairs of 1011s, I was told the 1267s were a good bet. The toe box was way too scrunched. Exchanged for 857 per advice of another New Balance rep - great choice :)"

    Great sneaker, way overpriced

"I love the comfort of this sneaker. It's my second pair of this model. I have trouble finding good fitting sneakers, and was sad to see this model only available on the internet. That being said, charging $120 for a pair of sneakers is outrageous. I want to be a repeat customer of new balance, but at this price, I may have to start looking elsewhere."

"I always get 10EE shoe for New Balance. They change the style once again and these didn't fit. They ran small. I went to one of their stores, found the older style. Bought 2 pairs!"

    Great shoe but too heavy

"Good shoe, comfortable, good support, durable, looks good. Only one big problem - too heavy. My last cross trainer was a lot lighter but they stopped making it (MX797v4 - was a great shoe). I was hoping for a light cross trainer with good support that I could run and lift with in the gym. I would not recommend this shoe for running...maybe for heavy weight training. I wear NB for everything - gym, running, golf, tennis...etc and it is getting harder and harder to find solid shoes like the MX797v4 that I bought last year"

"When I put these on, right out of the box, I knew these were the real deal. I walk a lot and extremely comfortable while on the treadmill, walking on the street or around the house. Feet and knees don't ache."

    Good Quality

    - Frederick, Maryland

"Shoe appears to have been made well. I needed a wide width which was not available at retailers selling New Balance. Have a franchised New Balance store (fortunately) in my area. Usually wear 91/2 medium to wide. Associate gave me two different shoes to try... not much selection was available in store in 2EE or 4EE widths. Settled on size 10, 4EE and ordered from New Balance website. If in doubt about the wide width, go with the 4EE,"

    New balance 1267

    - Virginia, USA

"These shoes were poorly constructed the sides were coming unglued and falling apart right out of the box . I have had other new balance shoes that were better made so I sent them back."

    NOT 4EEE

    - Cooper City Fl

"This style did not fit properly. I tried wearing it to see if they would stretch a bit and they did not. They were not 4EEE as they claimed to be. My last pair was also returned for the same reason."

    - n/a

"I've been buying 990 & 996 styles in 11.5-4E for years. When I ordered this new style in the same size, it was so narrow I couldn't fit my foot into them even with the laces removed! I can't try them in the store, since no shoe store I have ever seen stocks 4E sizes in any style. I guess I'll have to go to another brand for realistic sizing."

    NB 1267

    - Houston

"The shoe is much shorter than the usual 1200 series shoe; I had to order one full size larger. Also, the width is more narrow than the standard NB D width. Also, the tongue is a little too short and hits my ankle uncomfortably. Disappointing."

    Mar 8, 2016

They are uncomfortable and do not fit well.

    - Scottville, MI 49454, USA

"I do not like the shoes, especially the lowered heel. They just aren't as comfortable as others I've ordered!"

    Excellent, confortable, light and airy.

    - Sun City, Georgetown, TX, USA

"The shoes are well designed, very comfortable and well ventilated. Fit perfectly and gives great support and balance. I would highly recommend the 1267 to anyone looking for a great walking shoe."

    Excellent footwear for the gym

    - NY

"Compared to my last running shoes, these feel like I am wearing slippers. They are so light and breathe really well. Would definately recommend."

    not as good

    - PA

"I had to order the 1267 because the 1012 are no longer being made. I loved the 1012 for years."

I like the shoes; however, I prefer prior year models

    - Nashville, TN, USA

"I have been wearing the comparable New Balance Cross Trainer shoe for 15 or more years. I purchase the new model every year or two. I have loved these shoes in the past, to the extent that I would not consider purchasing anything different. I like the latest model, however, not as much as I have liked prior models. My complaints are over simple things: 1. the tongue does not pull up high enough. 2. The laces are really thin and weak. I prefer thicker laces that feel stronger, and are easier for me to tie."

    great shoes

    - Montreal

"The shoes fit great and provide excellent levels of support for all kinds of exercise."

    Don't Know Yet

    - Brooklyn, NY

"I've worn a 9D for 40 years, for every shoe NB makes. I tried the 9B twice, and they were too tight. I tried a 91/2 D and it still didn't fit, so I am about to try the 91/2 2E. So I have no idea if this is a good shoe or not. What I do know is that you cannot go by your normal NB size. BTW, NB really worked with me to get me what I wanted, even when they had to send me to another site."

    Dec 18, 2015

Seems like a good shoe but the fit runs very small.

    - Albuquerque NM

"BUYER BEWARE! The 1267 looked like a shoe that would work well for me and I ordered my usual size, a 15 4E. However, the fit of this shoe is much smaller than all other NB shoes I have purchased online. I would say that the fit of the1267 is AT LEAST a full shoe size smaller than the stated size, and quite possibly one-and-a-half sizes smaller than stated. It also seems narrower than I would have expected and the shoes I ordered were much too small for me to wear. If you want to order the 1267 online, I would suggest going one or one-and-a-half sizes larger than your normal size and possibly getting something wider than you normally wear. Your best bet would be to find this shoe locally and try them on before buying. The fit issue aside, the shoe seemed to be well-constructed and it looked nice too. It's very unfortunate that NB allowed this sizing change to occur with this shoe - I'm sure I'm not the only disappointed customer."

    Negatives and positives.

    - Mike in Sarasota, FL

"The bands on top of the mesh on the top front of the shoes seem to be coming loose from the underlying mesh. I buy New Balance for tennis because of the wide sizes. Comfortable shoe though. These are not made for tennis, but I do not like the tennis shoes NB offers."
