    To narrow

"I ordered these in 4e. They were too tight and I had to return them. I have been ordering 4e in the other styles offered and I do not have a fit problem with them. Since I hike mountain trails daily I was very disappointed. The walker shoes that I can get to fit do not have the tread needed for my scree filled trails."

    Leaked in half a year

"Sadly, I've had my shoes for a little more than 6 months and already the rubber sole tip coming up the front has gotten unglued from the leather. Also, a stitch has pulled out from the front seam between the leather. And that makes the shoe leak whenever I walk in wet environments. I haven't even put them to serious use with some mild-moderate hikes on weekends and rare walks on pavements in the city. At first I thought the seams made the shoe more attractive but that may be it's downfall. Basically: The positives: Relatively attractive, excellent wide foot fit, good ankle stabilization The negatives: Don't last. I hope this may have been a defective pair and my plan will be to attempt to glue everything together. Though, I know I'll likely have to get a pair of hiking boots from someone (I'll likely look at Columbia since my husband has a pair from them that are scuffed but working after 1.5 years) sooner than later."

"Good boot. Sizing not accurate. I normally wear a 7.5 E in New Balance shoes, which is the size I ordered for this boot, however, they were too tight and too small. Returned and reordered for size 8.5 EE, which fits great."

    Light weight

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"I liked the greyish color, although tends towards greyish-green. The light weight and trim look of the shoe is appealing. I ordered the 2W as this is the width I use for all my New Balance shoes and ordered up based on recommendations here. The length was good, however the 2W was snug and toes were rubbing while testing them indoors. I have returned them and ordered the 4W."
