    Too short!

"This shoe runs very, very short, even for New Balance. Also, the toe is pointy not rounded, which seems like a design flaw in a fitness walker. Width seemed OK. The shoe seemed flimsy overall, however. I use a custom orthotic, which firmed the shoe up, but it still felt insubstantial. I'm not even going to try a longer length in this one. I might buy another of the original 1765, which I do like."

"I like look of the shoe, but they are too short. It's been my experience with new balance that if a particular style is too short, ordering a half size up doesn't help, as then the arch is too far forward. I have to look at previous reviews to see if a shoe runs true to size. I didn't on this one. I foolishly wore it for a few hours before convincing myself that they really weren't going to work, so I can't send them back. The width seems to be OK, but there just isn't sufficient room in the toe box."
