    Yes, I recommend this product.

"Our firefighters wear this style of NB as a uniform shoe when wearing duty shorts. The guys are pretty rough on them but these shoes hold up pretty well. I'd say they are average to above average in comfort. Price and style are a key factor in selecting these for our staff."

    I would pass on these...

"I'm a big fan of NB. It's pretty much all I buy. However, I've owned these shoes for 6 months, and I've never felt very comfortable in them. The sizing of them runs true, but the construction and comfort of these shoes left something to be desired. I mainly used these for slow jogging and officiating baseball (on the bases, not behind the plate). 2 out of 5 is a fair rating as they're not horrible, but they weren't good enough to consider a purchase again in the future. I bought them on sale for under MSRP. If they're on sale for that price again, I'd say go for it if you need something cheap. If they're selling for MSRP, I'd say pass."

    Durable, great build quality

"My last 6 pairs of shoes have been this model. I have used them from 5K street races to 50 and 100 mile trail races. I have never have had any failure of any of these shoes other than normal wear of the tread. Typically on a pair of shoes, I can get a little over 1000 miles. before I have run through the rubber and the foam between my foot and the tread. I have found for me anyway, that if I wear very thin socks, my foot will move around a bit more than I want in the shoe especially when running down steep trails that have a lot of traction and when I am doing a lot of braking. This has in the past caused my toenails to be bruised. This is a non-issue when I run with regular socks. Only on rare occasions have I ever had blisters in these shoes, when I have, it was when I was wearing thin socks. After the shoes are retired from the runs, they turn into work shoes, by that point, my toes are only a few mm from the ground. but the tops have never had any tears or rips. The wear on the tread does seem to be a little faster when using them on the streets, but they seem to cope well enough with that surface. Although I have thought about getting more expensive shoes, I routinely get 1000+ miles on pair of shoes that cost about 1/2 of what the more expensive shoes cost. Value. I am a about 200 pounds, and run 60+ miles a week on surfaces from level paved streets to steep, technical, single track trails covered in sharp rocks. They just go."

"I use these shoes because I am on my feet 14 hours a day on my job and they are the most comfortable shoes straight out of the box. I told my wife I want to get another pair to have for casual wear too. Love these shoes! I walk about 6 miles a day just at work so comfort is key for me"
