"I'm on my feet all day long, averaging 8,000-12,000 steps/day. I need a walking shoe that gives me good support, has a wide toe box, and adapts to orthotics well, at a reasonable price. 577s do that for me, enough so that I am on my second pair, replacing them annually. Very pleased with the performance of this shoe"

"I've worn NB walking shoes since I started with the 572 to the present 577. They keep you stable and good arch support. When loop for shoe lace was started in the 576, this is very uncomfortable for the top of the foot when tying shoelaces tight enough for shoe to be supportive."

"I am most pleased with this shoe. I have worn this style and previous version for more than a decade. I have a very narrow foot with low ankles, so I use heel pads. Even as a child I had to use heel pads in all my shoes. This helps make them fit my feet. I do like the shoe."
