How long do you want to use these shoes?

"I too am frustrated with NB changing the styles I like with other styles they say are comparable. I bought a new pair of 624's back in June 2014. It is now November 2014 and these suckers are worn out. I am used to my NB's lasting at least a year. The soles are starting to separate from the base of the shoe and the inner cloth is totally warn out. There is the normal wear on the soles I would expect from any shoe... Sole is warn at the toe and heal. I have run/walked in these for at least 300 miles. I have been only using them for workouts. I bought them for the cost. I have read that if you use your shoes for the sole purpose of running and power walking that you should expect them only to last 6 months. I was hoping to have these last for at least 6 months but looks like I will be searching for another pair."

    I Stand Corrected

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"I recently posted a comment impying that my new 624's did not have the "leather uppers" that were advertized. First, let me say that I was impressed that the company followed up on my comment and chose to respond. This is what I received: " A lot of our leather shoes receive a synthetic coating over the actual leather. This is done to increase durability and make the shoes easier to clean. While the shoes are in fact made with a leather upper, this coating may offer a more synthetic look or feel." I stand corrected and apologize to any reader who may have been misled as I was. I will wear my NB 624's with pride"

624... last NB I will buy

    12/26/13 by | ny

    • Used Product For: 4-6 weeks

"I have been buying this "line" 623, 622... for many years. Most of the cushion around the top is gone. Now feels like thin canvas. But worse is the slots on the base. I often get the feeling I am slipping a inch or so sideways on flat surfaces. And I feel that several times a day"

    Hit & Miss

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"I like this shoe but buying them is hit and miss. Seems to be an inconsistency in the manufacturing process? Get one pair, it's fine. Next pair has a bad seam digging into my toes! Seems like Quality at NB has dramatically changed in the last couple years. Replaced styles I wore for years with cheaper versions! I like the 624, but for the first time in 20 years, I'm now looking at other brands...bummer!"
