"Purchased the shoes because they said made in USA on the box. After wearing these shoes for 5 months the sides are tearing. I called NB to report the problem and they told me I must have a incorrect fit and to check the laces. Same problem as the other two reviews. Quailty issue I think so. Don't buy these if you want to wear them for more that 3 months before they become your lawn mowing shoes. Sorry guys back to N!k3."

"I purchased these 2 months ago and the mesh on both sides of both shoes in the front, already started tearing. I'm guessing they will last 3 months before my socks start showing through. Pros: I really like the colors and overall looks. It has very aggressive tread but you can still wear them on a gym floor without feeling too knobby. The material used feels like the lightest and thinnest you can get away without compromising comfort for an everyday shoe. Unlike the minimalist line, the tongue is strong enough to provide some cushion and stays put when taking the shoes on and off. Gotta love the value. These are less than half of what I pay for Asics and are close to the same comfort level. Cons: My personal opinion only-I don't care for flashy shoes. The black and red are perfect but the giant N on both sides are made of a reflective silver that just looks cheesy. The mesh material doesn't hold up at all. My shoes after 2 short months already has 5 tears. I wear these as my everyday shoes and they haven't seen the trails yet. I could only imagine what would happen if I ran through some sagebrush. Nothing bugs me more than having to throw away a pair of shoes because they feel apart and they still have 95% tread left. If NB fixes these two things I feel they would have a perfect shoe."

"I ordered these shoes in late September, and wore them for two hours a day at most. A week into January, they are starting to fall apart."
