    All torn up

"The shoe fits fine and is comfortable, except in the 4 months that I've owned them, they have torn completely on both feet. You can see my socks through each of the slits. I most likely won't buy another pair of these."

    Fail

    - AR

"I've worn NB for 30+ years, so maybe this a one-time fluke. The 711v2 has very comfortable cushioning and I like the look. Period. It's a half to a while size small and narrow, but the heel is too wide and too shallow. The Leadvilles I just received are true to size. What happened here?"

"Will keep buying these sneakers. Love them. They run one size small. I ordered one size larger than I usually do. Same width. 8.5 D instead of 7.5 D. They are nice and light and are so comfortable"

"This is my second pair of 711v2 cush. Amazingly comfortable even after a long day of being on my feet. I have two other pairs of New Balance shoes but these are the best."

    Too narrow in toes

    - Philadelphia

"I also found the shoe to be narrow in the toe area. Other New Balance shoes are great but these are going back."

    Looks great but fits terribly

    - Reno, NV

"I really liked the look of this shoe, and if it fit well, I'm sure it would be very comfortable, as the cushioning in the shoe felt great. Unfortunately, the shoe ran very small and narrow. It immediately felt uncomfortable when I put it on. I tried using thinner socks and lacing the shoe differently, but nothing helped. Other size 6 shoes fit perfectly and leave a little room for my toes, but this style jabbed into my toes and left no room to spare. It was also very narrow and was squeezing my foot. The poor fit was also causing my heels to slip out just while walking. I've never had this issue with a New Balance shoe, so I guess this just isn't the style for me."
