"I've been wearing this line of shoes since the 764. Since the 767 (the best version) I've been able to buy shoes in this line sight unseen with no problems. The 770v3 was a very good shoe as well, very consistent with previous versions in this line. I was able to put 550 miles on them and only started to notice issues after 500 miles. I usually swap shoes at about 350 miles. As soon as I took the v4 out of the box I knew there would be a problem. Arch support is completely gone. Toe box is visibly narrower. They remind me of a pair of Brooks that I tried about 8 years ago and gave me serious Achilles issues. I ran 8 miles this morning. After 3.5, my right forefoot started to go numb. After 4, my left Achilles started to act up (no problems here for years). After 5, I felt sharp occasional pains in the ball of my right foot. The right half of my right foot was completely numb. I don't know how they can call this the v4 since it is completely different - almost as bad as the 768, but that one was just too soft. At least it fit and didn't cause pain. This shoe is nothing like the v3 or the v2, or any of the other shoes that came before it."
