Have worn the 800 series for years but these only lasted 6 months

"My previous 800 series tennis shoe lasted for over a year and this pair worn out on right big toe area in 6 months and that is not my strong foot on a serve as I am a right handed player. It feels like a very stiff surface on toe area that is not able to with stand the pressure of play."
