Yes, I recommend this product.
"I bought these for general use but don't do any running. I have a very narrow shoe size and these come in Narrow. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I'm on my second pair now. I just wear them to the gym and recommend them for general use."

"I love New Balance and have been purchasing sneakers from them for years!! This was the first pair of sneakers I've purchased that have been miserable to wear. They look great, but are far more narrow than I'm used to. I've never had a reason to buy a wide size shoe or sneaker, but with style it would have been worth it. I've been trying to tough it out because the sneakers were a tad bit expensive, but I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out. They're simply far too uncomfortable to wear on a regular basis. I'll continue to buy from New Balance, but I'll avoid this particular style."

"I have worn these shoes for six years. This year's version is very different. Finally, I compared old and new shoes. The collar around the ankle is so thick, it rubs into my ankles with each step. My toes don't have the room either. Wasted money. Wish I had seen reviews beforehand. Too late to exchange."

"Very disappointed in this 857 replacement for the stellar 856 which was a rock in the New Balance line for years. The 857 is made much narrower and smaller with a standard shoe "last" instead of the much roomier "SL-2" last in the 856. Also, the 857 quality is inferior and started tearing apart after only 6 weeks. My suggestion is a factory recall and bring the 856 back into production."

"Not the same fit as the 856. This one runs narrow from the arch to the toe bed…..and a bit short, especially on the right foot! Causes discomfort from toes through lower back after use."
