"I have been running on and off for almost 20 years although it is only in the past three years that i have considered myself a runner. The only running shoe i ever bought were Brooks Adrenaline and then the off road version when my passion for off road and trails took off. However, I was always plagued by black toenails and squished toes but i needed a stability shoe due to severe overpronation in my right foot. These are brilliantly spacious for the wider foot..infact i worried that they were too wide even for my fat feet! I have had these shoes for about a month. i wanted the trail equivalent but the shop unfortunately didn't stock them. However, i am not a hardcore trail runner...most of my routes are on fairly solid foot and tow paths so i opted for these. To me, they are no different than the Brookes trail shoes as far as grip goes. These shoes look fab..aren't too girly and even accomodate my buniony feet! I am hoping that my toenail will be able to grow back now. I will certainly look in to the Leadville next time as these look pretty good too!. I am not super fast or super young but i love these shoes and it means i can wear a nice thick pair of running socks without my toes going dead!"
