"I've worn only NB since 1993. The stability/motion control shoes for over pronaters have been excellent over the years but generally unattractive. This pair is not only great for my running needs--it's a good looking shoe as well!"

"(This is a disclaimer that I've JUST received these and can only attest to how they fit at first and their style.) I bought this shoe because it was on a list of shoes my doctor told me to get after I tore both my calves (at different times.) She emphasized stability. My go-to size is 7.5, but sometimes I need to get 8 because my second toe is longer than my big toe, and that's a bit tricky as well because I have really narrow feet. HOWEVER, these fit just right at 7.5, and this is also the first pair of shoes that I bought that are actually sized for narrow feet (2A). A bit snug around the middle of my foot for now but in a really good way. Or maybe that's how they're supposed to fit and I've just lived my entire life wearing ill-fitting shoes... Anyway, the part above the toes is really soft and roomy and comfy. I like the extra lace holes to keep the shoe on your foot. Just wish the laces were long enough to actually tie after lacing all the way up. Style-wise, they're a bit too flashy for my taste but beggars can't be choosers. They also make me a good inch taller which, as a short person, is always helpful. I'll be back after I've gone a few miles in these...."

"For the past year, the outer aspect of my left ankle has become weak and extrememly painful with swelling that now is continuous around the back of my ankle as well. Today I knew that I had to go to purchase a new pair of shoes for work as a care aide, because my foot is yankered by the end of my shift now and I can't enjoy going for a walk because I can't weight bare on that foot! We have a specialty shoe shop in our town and the owner told me exactly what was wrong with my gait and my foot issues and put me right into the new balance 860v4 and bam..I fell in love and my feet were honestly purring!! I actually cannot wait to get back to work to try these babies out for a full shift. I have a feeling that my debilitating foot issues are going to be a thing of the past! So happy!"

"Wow, from the moment I saw these, I loved them. But it's not how they look that counts; it's how they fit...beautifully. The first time I put my feet into them and tied them up, I was in love. These are the best fitting running shoe I've every encountered or owned. They hug my feet, which are a 6 1/2 B. They feel so comfortable I almost forget they're on. I may have to get another pair. When you find perfect..."

    I love this shoe!

"Needing a stability shoe for running, I usually end up with the ugly models. If I notice a cute pair of shoes, it's most likely built for a neutral runner. Whatever, that's fine, because I'd rather have a shoe that feels good than looks good. However, THIS shoe is the FIRST ONE that marries form and function for me. I love how cheerful and happy they are--a little starburst of color--and yesterday on my first run with them I couldn't stop looking down at my feet and smiling. Plus, like most New Balances out of the box, they fit like a dream, and make my feet feel great after a run. Thanks for giving this overpronator her first pretty pair of running shoes!"
