New TRUFUSE cushioning technology combines ACTEVA and ABZORB foams for the ideal balance of cushioning and support. For even more support, this men’s running shoe features a dual-density medial post to help curb overpronation and T-BEAM technology for crucial torsional stability in the shoe. The asymmetric heel counter and midfoot support you love from the previous model remain the same, while modern engineered mesh adds a fresh look and soft, breathable fit through the forefoot.

Great running shoe. Fit was true to size. I have not had a pair of New Balance in awhile but my wife surprised me and asked me to try them. I won't go back to the other brand. This is the best athletic shoe I have had in a long time.

Great, but something has changed

Been wearing 860s for years. I loved the V4 and the V6; they fit well and provided great support. Upgraded recently to the V7 and love them but something has changed since the V6, the fit while good is just not as comfortable as the V6.

Not anywhere close to 860 v6

I used the 860 v6 and ran around 600 miles on the shoe. I even ran a half marathon on that shoe. Needless to say, it worked very well for me. So naturally, when my mileage was out, I bought the 860 v7 as it was the new progression of the 860 v6. I used the 860 v7 for around 30 - 40 miles and I developed Plantar Fascitis. My left heal is still hurting pretty bad from it. My assessment is that the 860 v7 has the lace at a lower point that the v6, and it used read more

A great shoe! I have a few feet issues and the support provided by this shoe is awesome. I have been through a total of 3 of this number series (2 - V6, 1 - V5). This is a great shoe for those who have wide feet like mine. The only thing I have negative is the fact they last only an average of 190 miles (run logged miles) for me, but that could be due to my own foot and leg issues. I highly recommend this shoe!

I have Neuropathy so my feet are extremely sensitive to fit, comfort and especially width. After trying several different shoe brands, I have found that only New Balance makes the best fitting, good looking and most comfortable shoe in the size I need. I have owned and worn at least 6 pair of NB shoes and I can always depend on NB to have the shoe I need in 4W.

Worst NB shoes I've bought

First off the shoes are not very comfortable. Second and most infuriating is that the tounge slides down to the side of the shoe after only a few min of walking around in them. Nothing better than buying a new pair of shoes you need to bend down and straiten the tounge every 5 min.

I've been wearing the m860 for years and years. I think I've bought almost every version each year. This v7 is just awful. New Balance should refund everyone's money. First off, there is less room in the toe bed, with my toe being closer to the front of the shoe. Second, I got tremendous calf pain after running in these shoes (and I'm using to running regularly some 15 miles per week). Something is wrong with this shoe.

Have owned several pairs of 860's. The V6 was one of the best shoes ever made. The V7 feels ok out of the box but just never seemed to break-in. Not sure if I bought an off-spec shoe but this 11D fits tighter than any other NB shoe I've ever owned. Going get a different pair of shoes. Sorry for the bad review New Balance.
