    The shoe size is too sma;;

    - Chicago

    "This item is supposed to replace last year's model. Yet it is a half size to full size too small . When I called I was told, yes, others have said that. Please tell your sales people. we have shipped it back. There should be standard sizing in shoes."

    reliable product as usual

    - The Villages, Fl

    "Excellent very comfortable shoe. Need to order 1/2 size smaller though. Great arch support"

    Great shoe, nicely made

    - Niles, MI

    "I ordered the 940 after a very disappointing purchase of the 770, which I thought would have the same quality as the 768 and 769. It definitely did not. The 940 cost more, but is very much like the 768-769 models in construction and fit. I am very happy with the 940. The heel is nice and snug in the D-medium, with plenty of room in the forefoot. I wear a 13, and have plantar fasciitis problems, so the control features are important to me. I replaced the factory insole with some cushiony Dr. Scholl's insoles, and this makes the shoe feel like a slipper!"

    Third pair of 940s

    - Wets Chester, PA

    "This is my 3rd pair of 940s and I couldn't be happier. Comfortable from the first moment, that I put them on. I hope that you never discontinue this model."

    "Loose strings where top of shoe was sewed to bottom of shoe."

    High Quality Shoe, beautfifully constructed.

    - Fort Hood, TX, USA

    "Been buying NB for years and years. Same high quality, with even more attractive materials. I run an average of 11 miles per week, with a lot more during training for half marathons once a year. I'm a over pronator so the 940v2 really helps me balance that out. After years of being perfectly happy with the fit, I found the 10.5 regular fit on this shoe to be a little small for my feet which really crowds my toes. Not uncomfortable but you know the fit is not quite right. I love the shock absorption NB puts into their entire shoe, and the comfortable fit usually experienced with their shoes. You get the feeling of human hands being engaged in assembling the shoe, instead all by machine. NB has branched out in their appeal, but I hope they will continue to concentrate on making the great running shoes they have over the years. I ran my first full marathon in 1991 wearing NB shoes and have kept being a loyal brand owner."

    Great, stable shoe

    - Memphis, TN, USA

    "These shoes are awesome! I have a pronation problem and had foot surgery this past July, but when I wear these shoes, I walk in complete comfort. I do not run, but I am grateful to have found the right shoe for my feet."
