    "These have been the best for my feet so far, but I'm quickly approaching the end of their useful life. Undecided in purchasing again or moving up to 1340v2."

    "I have run with the NB 940 for several years. While I like the 940 v2 is slightly lighter, I think it sacrifices the cushioning the previous version had. I keep switching to my old and back to new to try and nail down difference. Just think overall feel of 940 was better!"

    Not like 940

    "I have several pair of 940 shoes, which I loved, and ordered a new pair and was told it would be 940v2. Ordered the same size as I have ordered for 10 years. The new shoes are much bigger, length and width, and do not fit as good as the 940. I do not understand why they have to change the shoes. I used to wear the 768 and they discontinued it and I had to go to the 940 and now it is gone also."

    Lighter = Disappointing

    "For me, this v2 version of the 940 is a disappointment. And I liked the 940s. Seems that when NB boasts lighter it equates to less durable, and fewer miles as well. Maybe it is fine for a 20 year old. Everybody is different, but when I can no longer pick up and put down my foot because my running shoe is too heavy, I should probably stop running. My plea: Please stop with the lighter already! I want structure, support, and durability. Giving the 1340 a try."
