What do you get when you take the 940v1, remove some weight and add some cutting-edge stability technology? The New Balance 940v2, a running shoe for serious overpronators. Assembled in the USA, the 940v2 is cushioned with N2 in the heel and stabilized with T-beam for mid-foot control and Stabilcore™ for medial support. It also features a synthetic/mesh upper and a blown rubber outsole – all weighing in at one ounce lighter than its predecessor.
  • 12 mm drop: due to variances created during the development and manufacturing processes, all references to 12 mm drop are approximate
  • Blown rubber outsole

    N2® is a low-to-the-ground cushioning technology that is responsive and durable cushioning system in a low profile execution.

    A medial support system that provides an extremely smooth transition from heel strike to toe-off. It is made from an injection molded engineered thermoplastic that offers a great deal of precision and consistency.

    A lightweight, flexible TPU shank engineered to deliver torsional stability in the shoe and arch support through a unique center beam design.

    "I used to wear this shoe religiously, when Version 2 came out, I tried it. It felt terrible, but I thought I would get used to is. I ended us getting Plantars Fasciitis in my right foot again, achillies pain and tight calves. I think the drop changed and there is less stability. I would not recommend this shoe."
