    Yes, I recommend this product.

"I purchased these to wear while gardening and working in a woodlot. I've been digging and cutting down large shrubs and small trees on uneven territory. I haven't tested the waterproofing except in very wet grass. I purchased the same size as my NB running shoes and the fit is good. Only three concerns...1. the leather will stain your socks; and 2. the sides come up a bit too high and rub the ankle bones; and 3. the heel tab is too short to help pull the shoes on. I use a shoehorn. I put in my shoe orthotics and broke the shoe in more and no longer have a problem with rubbing on ankle bones."
