Still need more toe box room

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"I got spoiled with the 1122 model. Tried the 1540 but no go, tongue too short. This shoe fits pretty good. I have worn the SL-2 last for years (like this shoe) and it has done me well. I have a normal heel width but wider forefoot and higher instep so I need width plus toe box height. These shoes are a little snug in the toe box but better then the 1540 and not as roomy as the 1122. I usually replace the insole with a NB pressure relief one (arthritis) but not possible in this shoe and size. I replaced it with a famous foot doctor brand for athletic shoes and it gives me more cushioning. I also wear a well-known thicker padded sock for cushioning. I wear these shoes several times a week for a cardio workout as well as just running errands and they are nice. May consider these in an all leather brown or black for travel. The 928 seems to be a little less "clunky" than the 1122 model."

"The 928 is my choice for walking. I have several different models of NB shoes and I alternate them daily. I walked 35-40 miles a week. The only thing I don't like is that the thin outer sole. Wears out too quickly."
