I am an overpronator and had trouble with shin and calf pain on runs of 5 miles or more. These shoes were recommended at a local running store (with some very knowledgable staff) and have cleared up any discomfort I was previously having.

I don't know all the techno jargon about running shoes, but I like these shoes. I have very flat feet and thought that I should get motion control shoes, but those didn't work for me. Then I switched to these high stability shoes and love them. I have run hundreds and hundreds of miles over several years with this model and I just keep replacing them with the same ones because no other running shoe seems to work for me.

I am a rather husky guy, who is running to better my overall health. I dreaded running, my shins hurt, my feet hurt, and my toes hurt. Then i went to a NB store and the sales guys was great, he took many measurements of my feet and then said this was the shoe for me. So with nothing to lose I got the shoes. They are great, my feet dont hurt any more, nor do my shins hurt. The first run in them I ran 5 miles which was 3 miles futher than I have ever ran prior. Thanks!!!

As a high milage runner, I enjoy as much cushioning as I can get. When I first bought the shoes three month ago, it was a little stiff, but as the miles went on, this shoe failed to loosen, and there just didn't feel like there was much cushioning. This was the first pair of New Balance that I was very dissatisfied with.

I have always had good luck with NB until this pair of shoes showed up. The first half mile or so was good until I noticed something odd. My left foot felt a bit loose in stride. After several attempts at re lacing and moving my foot (even thought maybe it was a different last. nope) I discovered that the insole was either coming loose or had not been properly glued inside the shoe. The resulting rubbing/ squeaking is just too annoying to deal with. These shoes are headed back for an exchange.
We appreciate you letting us know of this trouble. Keep in mind that we don't glue down our insoles. They are removable to allow you to further customize your Total Fit™. (You can insert one of our upgraded insoles or your own orthotics as needed.) If you are hearing a squeak, then it sounds like some air has been trapped between the insert and the rest of the shoe. Try sprinkling some baby powder down into the shoe and that should clear it up.
