WC804

I am so disappointed in this shoe!! I had three pair of the 803W and wore the soles off! The 804W is so uncomfortable. I can't tie it tight enough to keep my foot from sliding forward and making my toes sore. My teammates won't order this shoe because I have complained so much. They have switched after having the 803W also and now are trying other brands.

I'm a weekly intermediate doubles tennis player and I like these shoes so much I'm ordering a replacement pair as the ones I have are worn out... don't want to slip on court! They fit fine for my abused wide feet with a thick padded sock... when I play I lace them tighter for more support... most tennis players have that habit... I also prefer NB walking shoes when I walk...

I purchased these shoes at my local New Balance store. I have been wearing New ‎Balance shoes for years, and I have always worn a size 8.5 B. When I tried these ‎shoes on in the store, they fit great, but when I played tennis in them my feet kept ‎sliding around in the shoe. No matter how tightly I tied the laces, my feet kept sliding ‎around. I have never had this problem before. I took the shoes back to the store and ‎got a full refund – no hassle.‎ These shoes fit differently from other New Balance shoes. The 803’s in size 8.5 B fit ‎me perfectly. Make sure you know the return policy wherever you are buying these ‎shoes as you may need to exchange them for a smaller pair.‎

I have worn New Balance shoes for years. I play tennis 3 to 4 times per week. Loved the 803.The 804 just did not work for me. Sadly, I complained from day one and kept thinking they would get better. During my second trip to the podiatrist, he asked about the shoes I was playing in and recommended that I replace them. I will but I feel as if I am giving up a friend. Let's hope New Balance can get back the fit, stability, and flexibility of the 803.

I don't run but I do walk and average of 50 miles per week so I spend a lot of time in my shoes. I don't walk all the miles at one I do over 5 in the am over 3 in the afternoon and 1 mile in the evening. I don't wear the same shoes for each walk. But these shoes developed a squeak in the heal and over time became very uncomfortable at the balls of the feet. It is the first time I have not been satisfied with a pair of new balance shoes.
