At first I was a little skeptical about these shoes. I tried these on in the store and they were so comfortable I got them. When I first started wearing them it took me a little while to get used to the fact that these shoes have no back. These shoes never hurt my feet and walking is comfortable in them and they feel like a running shoe. You can wear these shoes with jeans and shorts. They make shopping and running errands easy, you just slip these on and your out. I only have two problems with them. One problem is that they can't be worn outside when it snows a lot, unless you want wet feet. The other problem with them is that you can't walk super fast in them because they don't have a back. I wish they were available in more than 2 colors. I wear these a lot on days off. I will continue to buy them as long as they are in stores.

These are the greatest shoes I have ever had; I am disabled and can not use shoes with laces, I have been using the 801’s for 2 years now and have had no trouble with them, they fit and feel comfortable right out of the box. The 801’s don’t get the typical sneaker funk smell and clean up real nice, length of service is great also. I keep 2 pairs and rotate them. I hope NB never stops making them.

This shoe is terrific. I am unfortunately on disability, and I needed a convenient, comfortable shoe. If it looked nice, that was OK, but it wasn't the main thing I was looking for (however these do look very nice). I also have very wide feet - 10 1/2 EEE. I didn't hold the E key down too long, that's triple E. I had a very difficult time finding a clog/slide/mule that was at least EEE. This shoe is very comfortable in and around the house or out walking in a park. I have two very minor quibbles I will mention: 1) the size listed for this shoe was 4E - I had my feet measured more than once, and my width is 3E (or EEE), and if these shoes were any more narrow, I'm not sure they would fit well on me. So if you are on the wider side of 4E, these may be a little tight, and 2) The front part has elastic - which helps this shoe fit differently shaped feet. For a while I had swollen feet, and the elastic was somewhat uncomfortable with my feet in that state. I have since started using compression socks, and now the shoe fits fine. If you have swollen/sore feet - particularly on the top of your foot, the elastic may put too much pressure on your foot. That being said, this is a great shoe. The sole is thick and cushioned. The shoe has a tennis shoe tread with decent sized lugs on the bottom which makes for great traction, in my opinion. I do like the tennis shoe look as well. I bought the black ones, and if you wear black socks, most people will never notice it is a clog. (This helps in more formal situations) I will be buying these shoes as long as new balance makes them. The 2 minor quibbles above are just informational for those that have other difficulties with their feet. If you aren't quite sure about the shoes, I would suggest trying them out. If they fit your foot comfortably, you won't want anything else.
