New Balance Appoints Alan Hed To Lead Global Business

Boston-based New Balance announces the appointment of Alan Hed as Executive Vice President International.
An executive with 25 years of experience in international markets gained from leadership positions in sales, marketing and general management, Hed has lived and worked in Asia, Europe and South Africa. Alan was most recently with Levis Strauss & Co where he held increasingly responsible positions, including his most recent as President of the Asia Pacific Division, an $850M apparel business. Prior to Levis, Hed was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Citibank in Thailand. His previous experience was at Procter and Gamble where he held sales and marketing positions in the US, Europe and Asia and established P&G's operations in Vietnam.
