New Balance Receives Ladies' Home Journal "Do Good" Stamp

New Balance announced today that Ladies' Home Journal has awarded New Balance "Do Good" Stamp for its work with Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.

"New Balance is honored to receive the Ladies' Home Journal "Do Good" Stamp for our work with Susan G. Komen for the Cure®," said Hilary Keates, director of global marketing and brand management, New Balance. "We hope that our partnership with Komen for the Cure® motivates more people to lead active and healthy lifestyles as a way to reduce the risk of breast cancer and that together we can find a cure."

2009 marked the company's 20th year as a proud sponsor of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. New Balance celebrated this anniversary with the introduction of a pink special edition New Balance 993 running shoe and a comprehensive marketing program that included an 8 minute video highlighting New Balance's long-standing partnership with Komen for the Cure®, a successful custom YouTube channel and in-store marketing materials. New Balance worked with both Marketing Drive and GMR Marketing to bring this program to life. Marketing Drive developed program concepts and creative expression and GMR Marketing managed New Balance's on-site activation at all Komen for the Cure® events.

Awarded each quarter, the Ladies' Home Journal "Do Good" Stamp pays tribute to corporations who "do good" within their communities and work to "make the world a better place."
