Supermodel, designer and fashion powerhouse Heidi Klum, together with New Balance and Amazon.com, announced that beginning tomorrow, winning styles of the Heidi Klum for New Balance (HKNB) shoe and apparel collections, featured on tonight's episode of Project Runway, will be available for pre-order exclusively at www.amazon.com/HKNB.
In the August 25 episode of Project Runway Season 9, Project Runway designers met Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn at the New Balance Track & Field Center and were challenged to create apparel to wear with a new Heidi Klum for New Balance lifestyle shoe, available in two colors and sold exclusively on Amazon. The winning apparel styles featured during the episode will be available for pre-order beginning August 26. The shoes featured during the episode are now available at www.amazon.com/HKNB.
"I love a fashion sneaker that doesn't look like it belongs in the gym, which was the inspiration for my new Heidi Klum for New Balance sneakers and my Project Runway challenge this season," said Klum. "We gave the designers a chance to stretch their legs on the track a bit in my HKNB sneakers, which was definitely a change from their normal day! The designers created some really fun pieces to go with the sneakers. I love the winning looks we chose and am excited to be able to offer them as part of my Heidi Klum for New Balance collection on Amazon."
"We are thrilled to partner with Heidi and Project Runway to showcase the creativity and talent of the Project Runway designers through exciting new additions to the innovative and style-forward Heidi Klum for New Balance collection," says Hilary Keates, director of global marketing and brand management at New Balance.
"Our customers will have exclusive access to the new Heidi Klum for New Balance styles created by the talented, up and coming designers on Project Runway," said Cathy Beaudoin, vice president, Clothing, at Amazon. "The Heidi Klum for New Balance line is a collection of easy, go-to pieces for women who are active but want to look pulled together every day. The clothes are incredibly styled with gorgeous fabrics and we think customers will love what the Project Runway designers have added to the line."
